I’m planning to hold one more preliminary planning / brainstorming session on Sunday, after which I hope to begin the process of identifying committee leads and nailing down more details. Follow the link below to register for Sunday’s meeting.

The idea behind these brainstorming sessions is that no final decisions will be made and those interested need not plan to attend more than one session.

However, based on input from a session held on Wednesday, I have posted a new straw man agenda document that aims to do a better job of allowing a well-known public speaking and professional development organization in multiple timezones to attend at least a portion of the event. The idea is to stick to a one-day event but split up the programming so that a well-known public speaking and professional development organization in Australia, for example, could attend the “late” events (from a North American perspective) as early morning sessions. Whether we will do it that way remains to be determined, but it’s an idea worthy of further discussion.
